Welcome to Battery Checker! This Privacy Policy explains how RoukoApps (owned and operated by ROKOCORE (SMC-Private) Limited) (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles your information. We designed Battery Checker to be simple, safe, and privacy-friendly.
Battery Checker is designed to work offline and does not require you to create an account. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers.
1. Battery Information (Device-Based):
The app reads battery-related information provided by your Android device (for example: battery level,
charging status, and related system battery details) to show it on the screen and/or widget.
This information is used only to provide the app’s features.
2. Information You Provide / App Saves Locally:
The app may save app settings (preferences) and battery history records locally on your device
so that features like history and user preferences work properly. We do not have access to this data.
3. Information We DO NOT Collect:
We do not collect personal information such as your name, phone number, email address, contacts,
photos, precise location, microphone recordings, camera data, or advertising identifiers.
The current version of Battery Checker also does not use analytics or advertising SDKs.
Battery Checker stores app data (such as settings and history) in a private, sandboxed storage/database on your device. We rely on Android’s built-in security features to help protect this data. Your data is not accessible to us.
Battery Checker does not back up your app data to any server or cloud service operated by us. The app is configured to disable Android’s automatic backup/restore for the app (android:allowBackup="false"), which helps keep the app’s stored data limited to your device.
If you manually back up your device or copy/export data using system tools or third-party services, that is under your control and governed by those services’ policies. We do not access or manage those backups.
Battery Checker is designed to operate without requesting sensitive permissions such as location, contacts, SMS, microphone, or camera. If future versions add new features that require additional permissions, we will request them only when needed and update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
Your app data stays on your device until you delete it from within the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. We do not maintain any server copies, so we cannot recover or delete data on your behalf.
Battery Checker does not use third-party services such as analytics, advertising networks, or social media SDKs that collect data from you in the current version.
Note: If you downloaded the app from Google Play, Google may collect certain information as part of providing its services. Please review Google’s privacy policies for details.
Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page and update the effective date. You are advised to review this page periodically for updates.
